A dental crown is akin to a cover/cap placed over a damaged or unsightly tooth to help restore tooth structure and/or improve aesthetics. Crowns are a very common dental treatment which can be split into three main categories;
1. Porcelain Crown. Porcelain is tooth colored giving this type of crown excellent aesthetics. It is often impossible to tell the difference between a natural and porcelain crowned tooth.
